Our professional team is dedicated to helping you share the stories that make this community great. We provide a place to cry, to laugh, and most importantly, begin the healing process that follows the loss of a loved one. Whether traditional or unique, we help you create meaningful events.

From the humble beginnings of the horse-drawn hearse and the homemade coffin we have come a long way and today represent one of the finest mortuaries anywhere with professional service, equipment, and supplies. A motto of the firm "The Test of the Years is Your Proof of Our Dependability" is indeed appropriate as we have weathered wars and depressions. We are the oldest African American firm in Wilmington and one of the oldest African American businesses in North Carolina.
